Night/Day

There is not much diversity of the biomes and ecosystems of Talagus. It is highly volcanic, burning, and dry. The biggest differences can be found within the day and night cycles, and how the areas change accordingly. In day time, everything is volcanic, lava pours along everywhere. Talugians can bathe in lava easily, and incorporate it into their sewage systems as humans would use water. They also drink lava to keep themselves “hydrated” All sort of infrastructure is built to withstand the heat. During the night, the lava hardens over time, and the Talugians use this as a building material. So much lava can found during day time, that much of it is stored for the night cycle, so they Talugians do not run out of water.

Volcanoes

Everything about planet Talagus is volcanic, which means Volcanoes themselves cover the surface in the tens of thousands. Cities are purposefully built near them, and a mere 1% are not active volcanoes. Through filtering systems and such, cities harness the lava and use it to their benefit. These volcanoes and their contents are vital for life on Talagus.

Caves

There also exist many cave systems in which many of the life on Talagus that can’t survive on the surface reside in. These caves are extensive and life within these caves does not need lava or water to survive, they simply have evolved to be able to power themselves through the extreme heat and energy from the star Tiberius.  Thse caves were molded by lava millions of years ago, making them curvy in nature. Lava is unable to enter now because of the Talugians helping these creatures survive by blocking off the lava from entering.
